Diabetes can cause many symptoms from skin issues, to fatigue and hunger, to hair loss. Hair loss is actually considered to be one of the first symptoms of Diabetes. The rate of hair loss can become worse as the condition continues. Diabetes is a hormonal disease, which is indicated by too high of sugar levels in the blood due to the lack of insulin. This medical issue could be the cause of your hair loss due to changes in hormones, or from less than optimal blood circulation which can decrease the rate of hair growth.
